I'm getting my holiday present early. His name is Digit, but I plan to rename him. He's an adorable boxer/lab mix. Completely unexpected and different from what I was looking for. My mom said we could look at other dogs, since being in Maine wasn't a necessity anymore, but I feel as with a child, you find one and you see the picture, and you love it. I won't look for a more attractive one, because he's a beautiful puppy in his own right. It's a shame someone hasn't adopted him sooner. I wish I could take him and Tramp, but that would probably be too much to handle at the moment.
Anyway I'm incredibly happy to give him a wonderful life and loving home, just like I was given. There are so many children and animals who aren't given that chance. We adoptees are incredibly lucky. That's something I never forget.
It was only slightly marred by a certain bitch tonight. I acted like it didn't affect me, but it did. I wish my skin was as thick as I make everyone believe. I won't stoop her her level, but it still hurts. So I'm kind of bummed tonight.
Here's a list of potential names for my new puppy:
Luca (bringer of light)
Brandon (named after Brandon Saller)
Ladislav (glorious warrior/would be named after Ladislav Smid)
Mazal (lucky)
Nathan (gift from god)
Raoul (wolf counsel)
David (beloved)
Simon (listening/would be named after Simon Ferguson)
